1959 Silvertone "Suburbanite"\
The first time I saw this set I wasn't very impressed, it's Grey and rather plain looking, but after a time I came to appreciate it for it's rather unique style.
The case is constructed of Fiberglass, which probably seemed really high-tech at the time.
This "Suburbanite logo is classic 1950's "Jetsons" styling, I might have passed the set up if not for this.
I found this picture from a 1957 Sears catalog. My set has a 1959 date stamped inside the case, so apparently they sold this model for a few years.
